On Saturday, June 8, the UFC will host UFC 238: Cejudo vs. Moraes from the United Center in Chicago.
In the night’s main event, the promotion will crown a new bantamweight king as flyweight titleholder Henry Cejudo moves up in weight to take on Brazilian Marlon Moraes. The belt is without an owner after T.J. Dillashaw was suspended two years by the USADA. Cejudo was last in action against Dillashaw, when Dillashaw dropped down to challenge for the 125-pound belt. Cejudo stopped Dillashaw in the first round to retain his title. Moraes, meanwhile, is a former World Series of Fighting champion who has scored three straight first-round finishes to earn his shot at gold.
The co-main event also features gold on the line as women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defends her title against No. 1 contender Jessica Eye.
The action kicks off at 6:15 p.m. ET with four fights streaming on ESPN+. Four additional preliminary-card bouts follow on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, with the five-fight main card airing on ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
The fighters hit the scales at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, June 7. Video of the action (courtesy of the UFC) appears above, while the results will be posted below as they become available.
