On Saturday, Nov. 17, ONE Championship hosted its 84th event, dubbed Warrior’s Dream, from the Stadium Istora in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In the night’s main event, the promotion cronwed a new welterweight champion as undefeated American Tyler McGuire took on Sweden’s Zebaztian Kadestam. McGuire made his ONE debut in July and defeated Luis Santos by decision. The bout marked Kadestam’s fourth appearance with the promotion. He has defeated the aforementioned Santos, as well Agilan Thani, in his tenure with the organization.
Also on the card, one of the most dominant kickboxers of all-time made his ONE debut as former GLORY champion Nieky Holzken battles Brazilian Cosmo Alexandre.
The event kicked off with the preliminary-card bouts streaming live on the promotion’s Facebook and Twitter pages. The main card aired live on the ONE Championship app.
