On Saturday, Aug. 5, Top Rank returned to ESPN from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for Lomachenko vs. Marriaga.
In the evening’s main event, one of the top pound-for-pound boxing greats, Vasyl Lomachenko, defended his WBO junior lightweight title against Colombia’s Miguel Marriaga. Lomachenko is a two-division WBO champion with finishes in his last five fights. Marriaga had a five-fight winning streak broken in a decision defeat to Oscar Valdez for the WBO world featherweight championship.
The event aired live at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
