On Saturday, July 22, Victory Fighting Championship returned to the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Neb., for its 58th event.
In the evening’s main event, veteran Dakota Cochrane locked horns with Maki Pitolo. Cochrane snapped a two-fight losing streak in June, topping Dave Castillo by unanimous decision. A former champion, Pitolo saw an eight-fight winning streak come to an end in his last outing, a knockout defeat to Kassius “Kayne” Holdorf that cost him the title.
