Thomas Almeida and Cody Garbrandt headline the event, as the two undefeated bantamweights will look to disrupt one another’s perfect record. Former UFC 135-pound champ Renan Barao makes his featherweight debut in the Octagon, when he takes on former lightweight Jeremy Stephens. Veteran Josh Burkman meets Paul Felder, female bantamweights Sara McMann and Jessica Eye are set to meet on the televised preliminary portion of the event, and Aljamain Sterling vs. Bryan Caraway headlines the Fight Pass card to kick off the night.

Rizzo explained what is known as “balloons,” while using Kelly’s picks, which all happened to be underdogs. Rizzo’s explanation went further than parlaying and straight betting, as he elaborated on a “trixie” and how if the strategy cashed, his co-host would be booking a flight to New Jersey. The same logic can be applied to your wagers and flight to a destination of your choice if your picks come through. Be sure to thank Rizzo if they do, and tell your travel agent to do the same.

Rizzo and Kelly also discussed the marquee names on UFC Fight Night 88, and how the lesser-known names may be where the money lies when betting. Along with pointing out the live underdogs, the hosts also explained profitable parlays with maximized potential for cashing in a winning ticket.
