VanZant, the all-American girl UFC strawweight, is a contestant on season 22 of DWTS, although other UFC fighters have bigger names and more accomplished resumes. Rizzo and Kelly discussed the benefits of PVZ playing a part in pop culture, not only for VanZant, but also for the UFC.

Later, the guys reminisced about the early days of RNC Radio in Las Vegas when Ken Shamrock and actor Sean Farris had joined the show, covered the latest Bellator news of Chris Leben’s heart condition and questioned why Dada 5000 did not get the same treatment before his fight. They heartily recalled fighters trying their hand in TV and film (for better and for worse), as well as the lengthy line of female bantamweights wanting a crack at new UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate’s belt.
