On Friday, Jan. 29, Lion Fight hosted its 27th event from the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif. The night’s main card aired live on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET.
In the main event of the evening, welterweight champion Fabio Pinca looked to defend his title against challenger Charlie Peters. The Frenchman Pinca held a significant experience advantage over the Brit Peters.
The co-main event also featured gold on the line as the promotion’s featherweight queen, Tiffany Van Soest, looked to add the super bantamweight title to her collection as she collided with Ashley Nichols.
