On Friday, Dec. 11, the UFC will host The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale from the The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
In the night’s main event, former lightweight champion and featherweight title challenger Frankie Edgar locks horns with multiple-time title contender Chad Mendes. Edgar has reeled off four straight wins entering the contest, including a dominant performance against Mendes’s teammate, Urijah Faber, in May. Mendes, meanwhile, will look to rebound from a second-round TKO loss to interim champion Conor McGregor at UFC 189 in July. Both fighters will be aiming for another crack at gold.
The event also features the conclusion of the 22nd season of The Ultimate Fighter. The season pitted teams coached by the aforementioned Faber and McGregor against one another.
The 10-fight event kicks off Friday at 8 p.m. ET with four preliminary card bouts on Fox Sports 1. The six-fight main card airs live at 10 p.m. ET, also on Fox Sports 1.
