On Friday, Oct. 17, Legacy Fighting Championship hosted its 36th event from the Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, N.M.
In the night’s main event, the promotion’s heavyweight title was on the line as Cody East faced off with Vernon Lewis. East had compiled an 8-1 record through his first nine contests, with seven of his wins coming before the final bell. After starting his career 0-2, Texas’ Lewis had reeled off four straight wins, including three straight by strikes.
The co-main event of the evening also featured gold up for grabs as flyweights Brian Hall and Damacio Page locked horns.
