GLORY 73 Results: Grigorian Stops Gashi to Retain Lightweight Belt

On Saturday, Dec. 7, GLORY Kickboxing returned to China for its 73rd event, touching down at the Nanshan Culture and Sports Center in Shenzhen.

In the night’s main event, lightweight champion Marat Grigorian put his belt on the line against undefeated Kosovan-American Elvis Gashi. Armenia’s Grigorian earned gold in May and successfully defended the title against Tyjani Beztati in October. Gashi had yet to taste defeat through 23 career fights, including five straight wins in the GLORY ring.

The action kicked off with a live preliminary-card stream on Pluto TV at 3:30 a.m. ET. The night’s SuperFight Series aired live on UFC Fight Pass at 5 a.m. ET. Finally, the main card aired at 7 a.m. ET, also on UFC Fight Pass.
