On Saturday, Oct. 26, GLORY Kickboxing returns to Lyon, France for its 70th event.
In the night’s main event, former welterweight champion Murthel Groenhart clashes with American Troy Jones for interim gold. Groenhart was originally slated to challenge current titleholder Cédric Doumbé, but the Frenchman was forced to withdraw due to injury. The Dutch fighter Groenhart will look to rebound from a loss to recent title challenger Alim Nabiev. Jones enters the match-up carrying a 13-1 record that includes 11 knockouts. He was most recently in action at GLORY 68 in Miami, scoring a first-round knockout.
The action kicks off with a live preliminary-card stream on YouTube at 11 a.m. ET. The night’s SuperFight Series takes place at 1 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass. The GLORY 70 main card begins at 3 p.m. ET, also on UFC Fight Pass.
