On Friday, Sept. 2, Lion Fight will host its 31st event from the Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Mashantucket, Conn. The night’s main card airs live on AXS TV.
In the main event of the evening, women’s welterweight champion Jorina Baars puts her title and unbeaten record on the line against Puerto Rico’s Angela Whitley.
Joining the main event are three additional title contests. Gaston Bolanos battles Tum Sityodtong for the super lightweight title, Iman Barlow and Jeri Sitzes meet for the super bantamweight title, and recently crowned lightweight queen Antonina Shevchenko clashes with Paola Cappucci.
The action kicks off at 9 p.m. ET on AXS TV.
