Resurrection Fighting Alliance 18 on Friday, Sept. 12 has added another bout to its main card as Brenda Gonzales will take on Heather Bassett in a bantamweight bout at the event.

Gonzales has been out of MMA competition since a submission loss to Rin Nakai at Pancrase 247, but has remained active in the boxing ring. Bassett, meanwhile, moved her record to 2-1 as a professional in May with a 42-second TKO over Carolyn Biskup under the King of the Cage banner.

RFA 18 takes place from the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. and features a flyweight championship bout between Matt Manzanares and Brazil’s Alexandre Pantoja.

In the night’s co-main event, former UFC fighter and multiple-division Tachi Palace title holder Ulysses Gomez will step into the RFA cage for the first time against DREAM and King of the Cage veteran Abel Cullum. Eighteen of the pair’s 27 wins have come via submission.

Also on the card, Chidi Njokuani faces submission specialist Steve Hanna, France’s Mehdi Baghdad faces Evan DeLong in lightweight action, and Bellator veteran Adrian Cruz squares off with Joey Miolla in a bantamweight affair.
