A flyweight Muay Thai matchup that’s sure to excite fans has been added to the ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II card.
Undefeated Colombian striker Johan Estupinan is now set to face Morocco’s Zakaria El Jamari at the blockbuster Oct. 4 event, which goes down at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Estupinan has already become a favorite among ONE crowds in his short tenure in the promotion.
His insane athleticism in the Circle has been backed up by entertaining antics, including backflips, dancing, and plenty of showmanship.
And the spring-heeled 22-year-old doesn’t wait around to get the job done.
He fights at an insane pace, and his penchant for flashy techniques leaves fans expecting him to score a finish in an instant.
This approach has seen Estupinan win all three of his fights on the global stage so far.
He has scored two finishes in that time, with the latest coming against American star Sean Climaco at ONE 168: Denver last month, to take his overall career slate to 25-0.
Estupinan may be on a roll, but he has yet to face someone who mirrors his style quite like El Jamari, so Colombia’s first-ever representative in ONE will likely face a significant challenge at ONE Fight Night 25.
El Jamari has had a mixed bag of results in the world’s largest martial arts organization so far, with a thrilling win over Thongpoon PK Saenchai at ONE Fight Night 22 in May sandwiched between a pair of defeats.
However in that lone win, the 35-year-old put on a real show.
He repeatedly goaded Thongpoon into a close-quarters war, where his ultra-aggressive boxing and granite chin pushed him to an enthralling unanimous decision victory.
