Lightweight Tournament

Poland’s Jakub Kaszuba (11-0-0) is returning to make it two PFL Europe tournament championships in a row. Last year, the unbeaten fighter picked up the crown and $100,000 now he’s looking to do it again. It begins against “The Danger” Kane Mousah (14-5-0), an experienced English fighter who has spent much of his career in Bellator MMA.

In another lightweight quarterfinal bout, Latvia’s “Pretty Boy” Aleksandr Chizov (10-2-0) faces the Italian-Irish Daniele Scatizzi (12-7-0). Scatizzi is coming off a loss in Bellator and will be fighting hard to get back in the win column. Chizov, a training partner of Khamzat Chimaev, has put his training at Tiger Muay Thai to good use earning a knockout-win rate of 67 percent.

Yazid Chouchane (10-4-0), of France, is looking for redemption. After getting KO’d by Dylan Tuke in the PFL in Dublin, he is looking to get back to form against the Spanish fighter “Levium Armorum” Ignacio Capella (7-1-0). Capella trains out of American Top Team and is on a six-fight winning streak.

England’s Connor Hughes (8-1-0) is looking to earn what he feels is rightfully his. PFL Europe in 2023, Hughes felt that the tournament was his to take until he was stopped by Tuke. Now, he is looking to take the belt and $100,000 home. The English-born fighter comes from a long line of martial artists and has a background in kickboxing. In this quarterfinal bout, Hughes will meet Germany’s Anatolij Baal (10-3-0), who is in a rush to win his matches by first-round KO.
