Combat Press Women’s MMA Rankings: March 2024

With the growing popularity of women’s MMA, it is important to recognize these women with a rankings system of their own. Between the UFC’s inclusion of weight classes from strawweight up to featherweight, Bellator’s increasing attention to the women’s side of the sport, and the all-female promotion Invicta FC, more and more women are being exposed to casual and hardcore fans alike.

Every month, Combat Press compiles the staff’s individual rankings from featherweight to atomweight to create the Combat Press Women’s MMA Rankings.

The month of February saw a new entrant to the top-10, as Natalia Silva outduked Viviane Araujo to take her ten-spot in the rankings. Looking into March, a number of top-10 fighters will be in action. Erin Blanchfield (4) will headline a UFC Fight Night card opposite Manon Fiorot (5) in what is likely a fight that will earn the winner a UFC title shot. Also, Katlyn Chookagian (6) will fight Maycee Barber (9) in another high-stakes UFC flyweight bout. Lastly, Rose Namajunas (7) will take on Amanda Ribas, who switches off between the flyweight and strawweight rankings.
