Bellator 214 Results: Bader Demolishes Emelianenko, Becomes Two-Division Champion

On Saturday, Jan. 26, Bellator MMA hosted its 214th event from the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

In the night’s main event, the promotion crowned a new heavyweight champion as it concluded its heavyweight grand prix tournament when MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko clashed with the promotion’s current light heavyweight titleholder Ryan Bader. Emelianenko punched his ticket to the finals with finishes of Frank Mir and Chael Sonnen, whereas Bader demolished Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal before going the distance with Matt Mitrione in the semifinals.
