On Friday, Dec. 29, Rizin Fighting Federation returns to the Saitama Super Arena in Japan, for Rizin Fighting World Grand Prix 2017: 2nd Round.
The event features the quarterfinal round of the promotion’s bantamweight tournament. Former UFC flyweight title challenger Kyoji Horiguchi meets Brazilian Gabriel Oliveira, UFC veteran Ian McCall makes his promotional debut against Manel Kape, Shintaro Ishiwatari takes on Kevin Petshi, and Takafumi Otsuka clashes with Khalid Taha. Four fighters will advance to the semifinals which take place Sunday, Dec. 31.
Also on the card, “King” Reina Miura battles UFC and Invicta FC veteran Cindy Dandois.
