Two Title Fights Bumped From ONE 166

ONE 166: Qatar was set to feature five world title matches at the top of its thrilling lineup, but two have now been postponed, according to South China Morning Post

Stamp Fairtex’s first defense of the ONE women’s atomweight MMA world championship against Denice Zamboanga will now come in June, as both stars are set to take part in an original docuseries production.

Despite the changes, ONE 166: Qatar is still set to be one of the hottest cards this year. In place of the two world title matches will be a pair of Muay Thai showdowns that are guaranteed to bring more exciting striking in four-ounce gloves to the masses.

Zakaria El Jamari and Ali Saldoev will make their ONE Championship debuts in a flyweight affair, giving them a prime opportunity to make an instant impact in one of the most exciting division’s in martial arts.

Further down the lineup, Vladimir Kuzmin, who was initially slated to face off against Nong-O Hama, will now meet Zafer Sayik in a 147.75-pound catchweight contest.

Nothing has changed at the very top of the card, with a triple main event set to light up the Lusail Sports Arena.

Reinier De Ridder defends the ONE middleweight MMA world championship against two-division king Anatoly Malykhin, Thanh Le and Tang Kai meet to unify the ONE featherweight MMA world title, and ONE strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks meets Joshua Pacio in the second meeting of their exciting rivalry.
