The UFC returns to Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Nov. 14, with two championship fights atop UFC 334. The event’s main card begins at 9 p.m. ET on Paramount+. The preliminary card starts at 7 p.m. ET, following the early prelims at 5 p.m. ET on Paramount+ and UFC Fight Pass.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Sep. 25, at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. Purchases are limited to eight tickets per person.
Gane Begins Undisputed Heavyweight Title Reign Against Hokit
Gane (14-2, 1 NC) enters UFC 334 as the undisputed heavyweight champion after spending more than seven years among the division’s elite. The Paris native has used his movement, speed and polished striking to defeat opponents including Alex Pereira, Serghei Spivac and Tai Tuivasa. He will now attempt to begin his undisputed reign by handing Hokit his first professional loss.
Hokit (10-0) earned his contract on Season 9 of Dana White’s Contender Series and climbed to No. 4 in the heavyweight rankings in just over a year. The Albuquerque, N.M.-based contender delivered breakout performances against Derrick Lewis, Curtis Blaydes and Denzel Freeman during his rapid ascent.
The matchup pits Gane’s technical, mobile striking against Hokit’s athleticism and wrestling background. Hokit will compete in his first UFC main event with a chance to complete one of the fastest climbs from the Contender Series to a championship.
Harrison and Nunes Meet in Historic Co-Main Event
Harrison (19-1) will defend the UFC women’s bantamweight championship against Nunes in a clash between two of the most accomplished athletes in women’s combat sports. A two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo, Harrison has defeated Julianna Peña, Ketlen Vieira and Holly Holm on her way to the top of the UFC’s 135-pound division. A victory over Nunes, however, would stand apart from everything she has accomplished inside the cage.
Nunes (23-5) returns with a chance to regain the bantamweight crown and reinforce her standing as the greatest female fighter in MMA history. “The Lioness” became the first woman to hold UFC titles in two weight classes simultaneously. She also owns more than 15 promotional records, including the most knockouts in UFC women’s history, with seven, and the most consecutive UFC victories by a woman, with 12.
Nunes stepped away as a champion and now returns against the woman who took over the division in her absence. Harrison can defeat the standard-bearer of women’s MMA, while Nunes can prove she remains at the top.
UFC 334 Undercard Features Veterans and Undefeated Prospects
The championship doubleheader sits atop a card featuring ranked contenders, proven veterans and unbeaten prospects. Fifth-ranked middleweight Caio Borralho meets former GLORY kickboxer Yousri Belgaroui, while No. 12-ranked welterweight Uroš Medić faces Kevin Holland.
Jim Miller is scheduled to make his 48th UFC appearance against Terrance McKinney. Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson returns against Charles Radtke, while Drew Dober squares off with Chris Duncan.
At women’s bantamweight, No. 8-ranked Macy Chiasson faces undefeated No. 11-ranked Bia Mesquita. Unbeaten middleweights Donte Johnson and Baisangur Susurkaev will also put their perfect records on the line.
At UFC 334, Gane will try to establish his undisputed reign, Hokit will pursue a historic rise to the title, and Harrison and Nunes will settle a legacy-defining matchup between two of the sport’s greatest women.
