ONE Championship is bringing together eight of its top flyweight Muay Thai fighters for a World Grand Prix that will begin in November.
The opening round of the 2026-2027 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix will be split between The Inner Circle 38 on Nov. 13 and The Inner Circle 39 on Nov. 20. Both events take place at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and stream live on ONE’s official platform.
The tournament winner will receive the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix silver belt. Before anyone can think about the final, though, the field must get through four loaded quarterfinal matchups.
Rodtang and Nong-O Meet in Clash of Thai Legends
Former ONE flyweight Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon will face former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai champion Nong-O Hama at The Inner Circle 38.
Rodtang enters the tournament as the No. 2-ranked flyweight contender. “The Iron Man” has become one of ONE’s most recognizable stars through his pressure, durability and willingness to turn nearly every fight into a battle.
Nong-O, ranked third in the division, is one of the most decorated Thai fighters of his generation. He ruled ONE’s bantamweight Muay Thai division for years before moving down to flyweight.
The matchup is loaded with name value, experience and intrigue. Rodtang will look to overwhelm Nong-O with volume and pressure, while Nong-O’s timing and precision could punish an overly aggressive approach.
Also at The Inner Circle 38, fourth-ranked Shimon Yoshinari meets fifth-ranked Ramadan Ondash. Yoshinari and “The Scorpion” represent the younger side of a tournament field that also includes established champions and veterans.
Imangazaliev Defends Title in Ortikov Rematch
The Inner Circle 39 will feature more than a tournament quarterfinal when reigning champion Asadula Imangazaliev faces No. 1-ranked challenger Aslamjon Ortikov.
Imangazaliev will defend the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship in a rematch of their June title fight. “The Dagestan Ninja” edged Ortikov by split decision at The Inner Circle 20 to capture the vacant belt and extend his unbeaten professional record.
Ortikov will now get an immediate opportunity to reverse that result, win the championship and advance in the Grand Prix. With a world title and a place in the semifinals at stake, the rematch carries the highest immediate stakes of the opening round.
The final quarterfinal pairs Thai veteran Black Panther with undefeated British-Pakistani prospect Ubaid Hussain. Black Panther brings substantially more experience against high-level opposition, while “Bad” Hussain enters as one of the tournament’s most dangerous young fighters.
Grand Prix Opens Across Two Events
The two-night opening round gives ONE a mix of championship stakes, legendary names and emerging talent.
Rodtang and Nong-O provide the blockbuster matchup. Imangazaliev and Ortikov bring an existing rivalry and the flyweight championship into the bracket. Yoshinari, Ondash, Black Panther and Hussain round out a field with no easy path to the silver belt.
ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced the lineup on social media and described the tournament as the promotion’s greatest Muay Thai World Grand Prix.
The quarterfinals begin Nov. 13, with the tournament expected to unfold across multiple events during the 2026-2027 season.
