On Friday, Sept. 11, Legacy Fighting Alliance hosted LFA 242 live from Mystic Lake Hotel & Casino in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Flyweights were in the main event, and Brazil’s Davi Bittencourt got a big win over Canada’s Devon Lozej.
In the second round, Bittencourt broke free of a clinch and threw an instant high kick. It landed flush, and Lozej went out cold. That win improved Bittencourt’s record to 17-4. All he’s done is win since getting finished on Contender Series in 2023. This is just his second fight in LFA. His first, in 2022, was a win over future champ Eduardo Chapolin (now signed to UFC).
In LFA 242’s co-main event, Marcos Breno got a 21-second KO over ONE Championship veteran Shuya Kamikubo.
Hot prospect Steve Collins also won on this card. He’s 8-0 now after a second-round finish over former Bellator fighter Kevin Carrier. Elsewhere on the card, Elias Rodrigues stayed undefeated, at 5-0, with a decision over Romello Union.
