KSW 121 Results: Štefan Vojčák Stops Marcin Wójcik to Claim Interim Heavyweight Title

On Saturday, Sep. 19, KSW hosted KSW 121 live from Home Credit Arena in Liberec, Czechia. The main event was supposed to feature longtime KSW heavyweight champ Phil De Fries, but a spine injury removed him from this card and forced him to vacate his title (which he had defended an incredible 14 times).

Štefan Vojčák, De Fries’ original opponent, stayed on the card. He got to fight Marcin Wójcik for the interim title, and it was Vojčák who took that gold home. He finished Wójcik in the fourth round. The Slovakian Vojčák, aka Mutant, lost to De Fries by TKO last year. He rebounded from that with a mother’s milk choke submission over Arkadiusz Wrzosek in June.

In the co-main event, Michał Michalski submitted Radosław Paczuski in an all-Polish affair. Poland’s Kacper Formela also won this night, beating Czechia’s Leo Brichta.

One of the more odd moments on the card featured Muslim Tulshaev dropping Kacper Koziorzębski with a spinning kick to the groin.
