‘Hammerin’ Hank Lundy Set for BKB Debut at Bally’s Dover

Former world title challenger “Hammerin’” Hank Lundy is taking the gloves off for the next chapter of his combat sports career.

Lundy will make his bare-knuckle boxing debut at Bally’s Fightnight by BKB on Friday, Nov. 20, at the Rollins Center inside Bally’s Dover Casino Resort in Dover, Del. The event will mark BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing’s first show in the state.

Lundy’s opponent has not yet been announced.

Doors open at 6 p.m. ET, with the event scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET. Tickets are on sale through the Bally’s Dover website.

Lundy Brings Nearly Two Decades of Boxing Experience to BKB

Lundy signed with BKB in July after compiling a 32-14-1 professional boxing record with 14 knockouts. The Philadelphia native has spent nearly two decades competing around the world and facing several notable opponents.

His most prominent opportunity came in 2016, when he challenged Terence Crawford for the WBO junior welterweight championship. Lundy also captured the WBO NABO lightweight, NABF lightweight, WBC Silver lightweight and WBC Silver super lightweight titles during his career.

That experience will now be tested inside BKB’s three-sided Trigon.

“I’ve fought all over the world and against some of the best in boxing, but I’m always looking for the next challenge,” Lundy said.

The veteran added that competing in Dover will allow him to begin his bare-knuckle run close to home. He plans to arrive ready to put on a show.

BKB CEO David Tetreault believes Lundy’s aggressive style and mentality are suited for the promotion.

“We knew when we signed Hank that his style and mentality were made for BKB,” Tetreault said.

BKB Makes Its Delaware Debut

The Nov. 20 event continues BKB’s expansion across the United States and extends its partnership with Bally’s. The collaboration combines live events at Bally’s properties with digital distribution and ForceIQ punch-sensor technology.

The sensors are designed to capture punch volume, punch type and impact force in real time, adding a data-driven element to the broadcast.

The Dover card will stream exclusively across Bally’s digital platforms. Viewing options include the Bally Sports Live apps, BallySports.com and the Stadium free ad-supported television channel.

Nicholas Polcino, vice president and general manager of Bally’s Dover Casino Resort, said the Rollins Center is a natural fit for the energy of a BKB event.

The partnership debuted in January with a Bally’s Fightnight by BKB event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi. Another Biloxi show is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, before the series moves to Delaware in November.

Four seating options are available for the Dover event, ranging from elevated arena seats to Trigon ringside.

With Lundy set to make his promotional debut and BKB entering a new market, the Nov. 20 show gives both the fighter and the organization an opportunity to make an immediate impression in Delaware.
