On Saturday, September 26, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship hosted Cage Warriors 210 live from the RDS Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin crowd went home disappointed after its man Paddy McCorry dropped the Cage Warriors middleweight title to Brazil’s Gustavo Souza in the main event.
Souza was a short-notice replacement fighter, coming in for Julio Spadaccini to make his promotional debut. Souza made short work of McCorry, sleeping him with a D’Arce choke in just over a minute. This was McCorry’s first attempted title defense after he won the belt from Dario Bellandi at Cage Warriors 200.
In the co-main event, Maximus Lally finished Joao Pedro Saldanha in the first round to score a victory for Ireland over Brazil. This finish-heavy card also saw a 39-second KO for Cristiano Oliveira over Alex Keogh to start the night and a TKO win for Conor McCarthy over Dumitru Girlean.
The event aired live on UFC Fight Pass, starting at 1:30 p.m. ET. Check below for full results.
