Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is heading back to Pennsylvania this fall.
BKFC Fight Night Bethlehem takes place Friday, Oct. 9, at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pa., with a welterweight showdown between Gregoris “The Venezuelan Viper” Cisneros and Ryan “Ryu” Petersen serving as the main event.
Cisneros enters the contest with a 5-2 bare-knuckle record and some momentum behind him. The Chicago-based fighter last competed June 26, when he scored a first-round knockout of Cameron VanCamp in Hammond, Ind.
Standing across from him will be Petersen, who carries a 3-2 record into the matchup. The Humboldt County, Calif., fighter picked up a unanimous decision victory over Daniel Keepers on May 22 in Palm Desert, Calif.
The co-main event will feature an undefeated Philadelphia fighter looking to continue his rise through the BKFC cruiserweight ranks.
Lex “The Grizzly Bear” Ludlow puts his 4-0 record on the line against Brock “Alpha Dawg” Walker, who enters the fight at 2-2. Ludlow made a statement in his most recent appearance, scoring a first-round knockout of Drew Nolan at BKFC’s Liberty Brawl event in Philadelphia on July 3.
Pennsylvania fighters are featured heavily throughout the remainder of the card.
York native Jay Haas will make his BKFC debut against Antonio “The Mexican Muscle” Castillo Jr. in the lightweight feature fight. Castillo is searching for his first BKFC victory after dropping his promotional debut.
Bethlehem will also have one of its own stepping into the Squared Circle when Mike “The Bethlehem Brawler” Liberto makes his promotional debut against Jojo Schillizzi in a light-heavyweight contest.
At welterweight, Christian “The Terminator” Torres meets Altoona native Brett “Showtime” Shoenfelt, while Pottstown’s Travis “The Animal” Thompson returns for his 15th BKFC appearance when he takes on Nick “Nicky No Holds Barz” Burgos in bantamweight action.
The women’s flyweight division will also be represented as Taylor “Ruthless” Dagner faces Marisol Ruelas. Dagner enters with a 0-0-1 BKFC record, while Ruelas looks to break into the win column after an 0-2 start.
The heavier divisions round out the announced lineup. New Jersey heavyweight Brian Newman makes his BKFC debut against Mark Culp, while Lewis “The Beast” Rumsey takes on promotional newcomer Maurice “Mayhem” Morris in an ironweight contest. Heavyweight newcomers Nathaniel James and Marc Worthington will also make their BKFC debuts against each other.
BKFC Fight Night Bethlehem marks another Pennsylvania stop for the promotion following its major Philadelphia event earlier this summer. This time, the action moves roughly 60 miles north to Bethlehem with several Pennsylvania fighters getting an opportunity to compete close to home.
BKFC Fight Night Bethlehem takes place Friday, Oct. 9, at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pa. Doors open at 7 p.m. ET, with the first fight scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Tickets are on sale through BKFC.com.
