As kickboxing continues to grow on a global scale with promotions like GLORY, K-1, ONE Championship, and more, fighters are constantly jockeying for position in the eyes (and rankings) of the media. Every month, Combat Press compiles kickboxing rankings for each weight class from heavyweight to strawweight, as well as the pound-for-pound rankings for both men and women.

Top-ranked super bantamweight Yuki Yoza was back in action on July 17, when he took on Ben Woolliss under the ONE Championship banner. Yoza controlled the fight over three rounds and walked away with the unanimous-decision victory. The former K-1 standout has now put together back-to-back appearances in ONE’s bantamweight division, including his previous fight with Jonathan Haggerty. With ONE’s hydration-tested bantamweight limit sitting at 145 pounds, Yoza’s recent fights have taken place right around the 66-kilogram mark. With his next fight also taking place in ONE’s 145-pound division, he has been removed from the super bantamweight rankings, and added to featherweight at No. 6, right behind Haggerty. Taio Asahisa falls out of the top 10.

Dropped from the rankings: Futa Hashimoto (6), Koji Ikeda (7)
The flyweights had a busy July, with No. 9 Ryunosuke Omori and No. 10 Jonathan Di Bella both picking up victories in ONE Championship. Omori faced Ali Al-Kinani at ONE Friday Fights 162 on July 17 and took home a unanimous-decision victory. On the same day, Jonathan Di Bella put his ONE strawweight kickboxing title on the line in a rematch with Zhang Peimian. Their first meeting was a close one, but Di Bella once again got the better of the Chinese fighter, earning a unanimous decision and retaining his title.
No. 5 strawweightRyu Hanaoka added some gold to his collection at RISE 200. Hanaoka faced Djillali Kharroubi for the vacant ISKA world bantamweight title and earned a unanimous decision after five rounds.
Finally, at Krush 190, No. 6 Futa Hashimoto lost a unanimous decision to Eito Kurokawa. While all of Kurokawa’s previous fights have been at strawweight, and he is coming off back-to-back losses there, he is definitely a consideration for flyweight.
When all is said and done, Di Bella jumps to No. 6 with Omori falling in right behind him. Masashi Kumura stays at no. 8 and Hashimoto falls off the rankings. No. 7 Koji Ikeda, who is 1-4 in the last year, exits the top 10 as well. Lastly, fifth-ranked strawweight Ryu Hanaoka and tenth-ranked strawweight Riamu Sera needed to be reclassified at flyweight, so Hanaoka will enter at No. 9 and Riamu takes over the No. 10 spot.

Before getting to the July results, No. 5 Ryu Hanaoka and No. 10 Riamu Sera have been moved up to the flyweight rankings, and he is being removed from strawweight.
No. 3 Ryujin Nasukawa made quite the first impression in ONE Championship. The Japanese standout faced Thongpoon PK Saenchai in his promotional debut and put him away in the second round. Things didn’t go nearly as well for No. 9 Issei Ishii at K-1 DONTAKU.
Ishii entered as the K-1 bantamweight champion and put his belt on the line against Neigo Katono. Katono scored three knockdowns and stopped Ishii at 2:46 of the second round to capture the 53-kilogram title.
Katono takes the No. 8 spot, Ishii falls to No. 10, and entering the gap at No. 9 is Tenshi Matsumoto, who scored the RISE flyweight title in Feb. 2026, and has a title defense coming up next month.

No. 5 Saho Yoshino picked up a huge win in July when she stepped into the ONE Championship ring with decorated French veteran Anissa Meksen. Yoshino entered the fight with plenty of momentum from her run in Japan, but Meksen represented one of the biggest tests of her career. The Japanese fighter was up to the task. Yoshino went the distance with the former GLORY and ISKA champion and walked away with the unanimous-decision victory, adding another major name to her résumé. The rankings remain unchanged.
Editor’s Note: Fighters are eligible to be ranked if they have competed in the last 18 months. Any fighter that chooses to switch weight classes will be ranked in their previous weight class until they have competed twice in their new division.
