On Saturday, Feb. 21, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship hosted Cage Warriors 200, live from the RDA Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The main event for Cage Warriors double centenary event was a Featherweight title match-up between champion Solomon Simon and challenger Nik Bagley. The co-main saw the Dario Bellandi attempt to defend his middleweight title against Paddy McCorry.
Both champions would fall this night, though. In the main event Bagley, one of the most highly rated featherweights currently outside the UFC, smothered Simon for a dominant decision win. The former Cage Warriors Academy champion is now 8-1 as a pro.
In the co-main McCorry made short work of Bellandi, taking out the Italian with a first round TKO — must to the delight of the Dublin crowd.
Irish fans were mostly happy this night with most of their fighters winning up and down the crowd. Only Solomon, in the main event, and Ger Harris lost to foreign opposition.
The event aired live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 12:30 p.m. ET. Check below for full results.
