On Saturday, Dec. 9, Bellator MMA hosted its 190th event from the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy. The event preceded Bellator Kickboxing 8 from the same venue.
In the night’s main event, middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho put his belt on the line against UFC veteran Alessio Sakara. Brazil’s Carvalho entered the contest riding a 14-fight winning streak, including five straight inside the Bellator cage. Sakara, meanwhile, had won three straight fights, with all coming via knockout.
The night’s main card airs on tape-delay on Spike TV at 8 p.m. ET.
