Combat Jiu-Jitsu Worlds 1 Results: Rocha Wins Lightweight Tournament With Palm Strikes, George Captures Bantamweight Title

On Sunday, Nov. 12, the Eddie Bravo Invitational held its first combat jiu-jitsu event from El Monte, Calif., the Combat Jiu Jitsu Worlds 1.

In the night’s lightweight tournament field, top grapplers Vagner Rocha and Nathan Orchard joined UFC veteran Tyson Griffin.

In the evening’s bantamweight tournament, inaugural bantamweight combat jiu-jitsu champion Nick Honstein led a field that featured former Shooto mainstay Baret Yoshida, and WEC veterans Chad George and Nick Pace.
