LFA 4 Results: Aguilar Crushes Jackson, Lee Submits Bassett

On Friday, Feb. 17, Legacy Fighting Alliance hosted its fourth event from the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Bossier City, La.

In the night’s main event, UFC and Bellator MMA veteran Damon Jackson clashed with former Legacy FC titleholder Kevin Aguilar for the inaugural LFA featherweight championship. Jackson entered the contest having won two straight, including a first-round submission win over Charles Cheeks III at the inaugural LFA event in January. Aguilar, meanwhile, carried with him the momentum of three straight wins under the Legacy FC banner. The Texan’s lone loss came against UFC veteran Leonard Garcia in late 2013.

The co-main event also featured gold on the line as the promotion crowned its inaugural women’s flyweight champion when Invicta FC mainstay Andrea Lee took on RFA veteran Heather Bassett.
