On Saturday, Dec. 31, Rizin Fighting Federation returns to the Saitama Super Arena in Japan for the Rizin Fighting World Grand Prix 2016: Final Round.
The event will be headlined by the finals of the promotion’s open weight tournament. First, however, two men will have to win semifinal match-ups. In one half of the bracket, MMA legend Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic takes on the largest man in the tournament, Baruto. On the other side of the ladder, Amir Aliakbari clashes with Valentin Moldavsky.
In addition to the tournament match-ups, the card also features Japanese legend Tatsuya Kawajiri against grappling ace Kron Gracie, as well notables Hideo Tokoro, Rena Kubota, Gabi Garcia and Hayato “Mach” Sakurai.
