On Saturday, Oct. 15, EFC Worldwide held its 54th event from Sun City, South Africa.
In the night’s main event, the promotion’s heavyweight title was on the line between former titleholder Andrew van Zyl and Elvis Moyo. The pair met previously at EFC 31, with van Zyl submitting Moyo by first-round armbar. Van Zyl entered the title match-up having won back-to-back fights via first-round stoppage. Moyo, meanwhile, also had won two straight.
EFC 54 kicked off Saturday with the preliminary card at 16:00 CAT. The main card followed at 19:00 CAT.
