UFC Fight Night 88 was a busy night for the future of the bantamweight division. The biggest move came from unbeaten Cody Garbrandt, who knocked out Brazilian Thomas Almeida in the night’s main event. Garbrandt enters the rankings at No. 9, while Almeida tumbles into a tie for 10th. Also on the card, veteran Bryan Caraway handed Aljamain Sterling his first loss as well. Caraway takes over Sterling’s No. 10 ranking with the win. Finally, former champion Renan Barão moved up in weight to take on Jeremy Stephens, but fell short on the scorecards. With the loss, it ‘s unclear if Barão will return to 135 pounds or stay at featherweight.
