On Saturday, April 16, the UFC hosted UFC on Fox 19: Teixeira vs. Evans from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla.
In the night’s main event, former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans tangled with former title challenger Glover Teixeira.
The 11-fight event kicked off Saturday with three preliminary card bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass, including a bantamweight match-up between The Ultimate Fighter 14 winner John Dodson and fellow TUF alum Manny Gamburyan. Dodson needed less than a minute to knock out the veteran and emphatically return to the 135-pound ranks. However, following the event, the fun-loving Dodson had something else on his mind.
