Legacy FC 42 Results: Quayhagen Edges Njokuani

On Friday, June 26, Legacy Fighting Championship held its 42nd event from the Golden Nugget Lake Charles in Lake Charles, La.

In the night’s main event, UFC veteran Anthony Njokuani looked to snap a three-fight losing streak when he took on hometown favorite Josh Quayhagen. The 35-year-old Njokuani saw his UFC tenure come to an end last fall, but his troubles continued in the Legacy cage as he was submitted by Dave Burrow at LFC 38 in February. Like Njokuani, Quayhagen aimed to get back in the win column. The Bellator MMA veteran had dropped three of his last four outings, but the 28-year-old looked to score a big win in his promotional debut.

The night’s main card aired live on AXS TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
