TUF 28 Finale Results: Usman Dominates dos Anjos; Espino and Chiasson Win Tournaments

On Friday, Nov. 30, the UFC hosted The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale from the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas.

In the night’s main event, former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos clashed with wrestling stalwart Kamaru Usman in a welterweight match-up. The Brazilian dos Anjos aimed to bounce back from an interim title defeat to Colby Covington at UFC 225. Prior to that, he had reeled off three straight wins after moving up to 170 pounds. Usman, meanwhile, has yet to taste defeat in the Octagon. “The Nigerian Nightmare” had won eight straight under the UFC banner, most recently defeating former title challenger Demian Maia in May.

Also on the card, the promotion crowned the winners of the 28th season of its flagship reality series, The Ultimate Fighter. The season featured fighters competing in the women’s featherweight and men’s heavyweight divisions.
