On Thursday, July 19, the Professional Fighters League continued its 2018 regular season from NYCB LIVE in Uniondale, N.Y.
In the night’s main card action, the promotion’s lightweight and light heavyweight tournaments continued. UFC veteran Jason High headlined the card opposite Brazilian Natan Schulte. With less than a minute left in the first round, Schulte put high to sleep with a rear-naked choke.
Also on the main card, former Bellator MMA champion Brandon Halsey took on UFC veteran Vinny Magalhaes. The Brazilian made short work of Halsey taking the fight to the ground early in the first to score a ground-and-pound TKO victory.
The preliminary card aired live at 6:30 p.m. ET on Facebook. The main card continued on NBC Sports Network at 9 p.m. ET.
