On Friday, Aug. 17, Bellator MMA hosted its 204th event from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

In the night’s main event, the promotion’s bantamweight champion, Darrion Caldwell, moved up in weight to challenge UFC veteran Noad Lahat in a featherweight contest. Caldwell had won three straight, including a first-round submission win over Leandro Higo in March. Lohat, meanwhile, had won three of his four Bellator appearances following his release from the UFC.

The event kicked off with a preliminary-card stream on the promotion’s website at 6:45 p.m. ET. The main card followed live at 9 p.m. ET on the Paramount Network.
