On Saturday, Dec. 23, Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki held its 41st event from Katowice, Poland.
In the night’s main event, welterweight titleholder Borys “The Tasmanian Devil” Mańkowski attempted to defend his title against FFC and Superior FC champion Roberto Soldić. Mańkowski looked to return to the win column in his natural weight division following his “Fight of the Night” defeat against Mamed Khalidov at one of the biggest MMA events in the modern era, KSW 39. Prior to the loss, Mańkowski defeated UFC veterans John Maguire and Jesse Taylor. Soldić had stopped all six of his opponents during his current winning streak including five first-round knockouts.
