On Friday, Sept. 15, Combate Americas traveled to the Splash Kingdom Amphitheater in Redlands, Calif., for Combate 17.

In the evening’s main card, Jose “Froggy” Estrada looked to rebound from his first career loss to Emilio Chavez at Combate 14 against Izic “Lion Heart” Fernandez. Estrada hd finished his first three professional opponents inside of one round. Fernandez, meanwhile, had lost two consecutive fights since earning his first promotional win against Israel Cruz in 2015.

The main card aired live at 11 p.m. ET on Azteca America and ESPN 2 (Mexico).
