M-1 Challenge 77 Results: Nemkov Submits Markes, Frolov Stops Nadzhafadze

On Friday, May 19, M-1 Global returned to the Sochi Sport Palace in Russia for M-1 Challenge 77: Nemkov vs. Markes.

In the evening’s main event, former M-1 light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov took on UFC veteran Ronny Markes. Nemkov had five wins in his past six, including a victory over Bellator vet Attila Vegh. Markes had victories over Cully Butterfield and Tony Lopez since getting cut by the UFC in 2014.

The preliminary card aired live at 10 a.m. ET on M1global.tv and Fight Network (Canada). The main card aired live at 1 p.m. ET on M1global.tv and Match TV (Russia).
