On Sunday, April 23, World Fighting League traveled to the Topsportcentrum in Almere, Netherlands for World Fighting League 5.

In the evening’s main card action, three-time K-1 World Grand Prix champion Peter Aerts hung up the gloves when he took on in the final fight of his career. Top-10 light heavyweight Michael Duut took on GLORY veteran Fred Sikking. Former top-10 fighters Brian Douwes and Errol Zimmerman returned against Gökhan Gedik and Murat Aygun, respectively.
