VFC 54 Results: Kayne Crushes Pitolo, Emerson Becomes Two-Division Champion

On Friday, Dec. 9, Victory Fighting Championship hosted its 54th event from the Baxter Arena in Omaha, Neb.

In the night’s main event, Hawaii’s Maki Pitolo rematched Kassius “Kayne” Holdorf. The pair met previously at VFC 52, with Pitolo earning a unanimous decision win. Pitolo entered the headlining affair having won seven straight fights, including three straight inside the Victory cage. The 29-year-old Kayne looked to avenge his prior loss to the Hawaiian.
