On Friday, June 17, Resurrection Fighting Alliance visited the Hammond Civic Center in Hammond, Ind., for its 39th event. The night’s main card aired live on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET.
In the main event, the promotion’s featherweight champion, Brazilian Raoni Barcelos, took on local product Bobby Moffett.
The 29-year-old Barcelos had won three of his four appearances inside the RFA cage, including a 25-minute domination of Ricky Musgrave in his last outing. The win moved his record to 9-1.
Moffett, meanwhile, made his RFA debut in March of 2015, earning a decision over Dan Moret. The Hoosier Fight Club veteran had racked up eight wins in his nine-fight professional career, including six by way of submission.
