Josh Hill (Darren Langlois/WSOF)

Rear-Naked Choke Radio: WSOF 32’s Josh Hill

Editor’s note: At the time of recording Global Warriors 3 was scheduled to take place on June 24. The event is now postponed.

It’s not uncommon for a fighter to have a moniker, but how many aliases can one man have?

Josh “The Gentleman” Hill (@gentlemanjhill) joined Joe Rizzo (@RearNakedChoke) and Jay Kelly (@JayKellyMMA) on Rear-Naked Choke Radio to talk his WSOF bantamweight title fight, Global Warriors FC 3, MMA in Ontario and his many nicknames, which are hilarious.

Hill meets World Series of Fighting 135-pound champ Marlon Moraes at WSOF 32 on July 30 at the Xfinity Arena in Everett, Wash. Hill and Moraes squared off for a WSOF title fight in 2015, but the Canadian lost an razor-close decision and it remains the only loss on his professional MMA record. Hill talked about the difference heading into the rematch and explained why he will walk away a crowned champion.

Hill was supposed to headline Global Warriors FC 3, but was forced to withdraw for his WSOF title shot. A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Hill is a big draw and major supporter of combat sports in his backyard. Even though he is not competing at GWFC 3, he will be in attendance as a special guest. Hill talked about the event, fighters on the card and how much MMA is suffering in the province.

While embarking on a legacy of his own, Hill talked about another Canadian legend that recently announced his return to the cage. Georges St-Pierre revealed his intentions to return to the UFC, and Hill, who is fond of the French Canadian, gave his thoughts on the news.

Hill, or Sebastian as some of you may know him as, talked about his obscure side jobs that provide new nicknames and an absurd amount of hilarity. Hill has modeled for fitness magazines, can be seen on the cover of a romance novel, stripped for old ladies and recently picked up the name Jack Linwood, a bubble soccer player with a shady past.

Have a listen and get to know Sebastian “Gentleman” Linwood, or as we call him, Josh.
