On Friday, May 22, Lion Fight hosted its 22nd event from the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Henderson, Nev. The night’s main card aired live on AXS TV.
In the night’s main event, the promotion’s super welterweight title was on the line as Jo Nattawut tangled with England’s Salah Khalifa. Nattawut was originally slated to square off with Kem Sitsongpeenong, but the Thai fighter was forced out due to injury.
The night’s co-main event also featured gold on the line as Tiffany Van Soest clashed with Bernise Alldis for the women’s featherweight belt. Van Soest had gone 8-1 inside the Lion Fight ring and looked to continue her success against the English fighter Alldis.
